The Minimalist Investor is built on that exact mindset.
Minimalism isn’t about owning less. It’s about removing the things that don’t matter so you can focus on the things that do.
In investing, that means less friction, fewer unnecessary decisions, and a clear path toward financial freedom.
My Minimalist Investing Framework
Define Your End Game: Clarify what you’re actually building for. Know your target, your timeline, and why you’re investing. When you know where you’re going, it’s easier to ignore everything that doesn’t help you get there.
My end game: I’m working toward financial independence and ultimately want the income from my portfolio to cover my expenses.
Curate Your Holdings: Build an intentional portfolio designed around your goals. You don’t need to own everything. Just what moves you closer to the finish line.
My approach: I keep a curated core of ETFs and a select few high-conviction companies (mainly for fun), with a focus on generating a growing stream of dividend income.
Automate the Plan: Take as many decisions as possible out of the process. Set up recurring investments, stay consistent, and let time and compounding do the heavy lifting.
My approach: I let automated recurring investments handle the heavy lifting, removing as much emotion and willpower from the process as possible.
